haizzz...so tired todae i feel even worse den yest...must have been da wkend crowd!! well in case ur wondering y i dint blogg yest..weelllll mum kp y i shd go all da way to hall wen tampines is sooo much nearer to Expo hall....which i dint noe was da location of Sitex til da very last min so mi latop was stuck in hall....
o well nuthing much happened yest, da fri crowd started comin in aft office hrs...and da crowd on fri was much bttr den todae's crowd.... but overall i tink we sold more sets todae den on fri...Sitex 2007 ~ a place where eager crowds looking for gd value for their money meet sales staff who unwillingly throw in freebies just to make ends meet...
seriously IT shows are onli gd for da consumers and not the distributers...as with the price slashing and amt of freebies given all-in-all, distributers are actually making losses..i learnt from mi boss dat these shows are merely for publicity and just to meet quaterly stock quotas....apparently da other Lenovo vendors are not happy with our side as we seem to be getting more sales... well cant blame us our sales side is pretti agressive(considering we also out number them by nearly 4 times)....but tat's da advantage of hiring part-timers.
Aniways, i just wanna kp abt those foreign customers...wah i've done two shows so far and da onli ppl who ever give me problem are da indian and PRC customers......singaporeans are da best customers cos although they are kiasu, they're not soo niao one!! Piang eh, the PRC's will spend an hr learning abt da internal features of the laptop(as if we're running a bleaty wrkshp here la....jeez), mi fren got da worst customer todae wen he had to go thru da ENTIRE manual with da Ah tiong charbo!!! Plus, its kinda a SPOKEN rule amongst us techies that i handle da indians and da rest handle da PRCs...so along comes dis singh and asks me to test every component...YESH EVERY FUGGIN TING!!! which includes: external HDD, headset, laptop, mouse, thumbdrive, webcam, docking port...dis list does not include da 3 software i had to pre-install for him!! da best part it took an hr from 9 to 10...oh and incase ur wondering da show ends at...9 pm...ya da fact tat the stupid EXPO switched off da aircon on time made it worse!!
haiz sii beh sian...but o well overall it was fun la....made a couple of new frens!! Chris(the guy who has too much money and keeps changing his hp every 3 daes), Josh(both of us went to kaypoh a near fight between a NEC promoter and some delivery guy who brot his frens to whack him up...but alas there was no fight...haiz...shit man needed some entertaintment..o well we'll see how tmw LOL), Priscilla & Priscilla (got 2: one princess, one violent), Soo Yee (another violent ahlian who poked mi eye and tilted mi bottle even further while i was drinking), Daryl, Danny(both of us keep checking out dis damn hot NEC promoter), Mervin(mi meal buddy who still tinks i'm a smoker), Gerald and Gabriel (da 80%-twins who lurve screamo).......haha gd times i must say but alas tmw's our last dae together plus its da last show for mi company.
i wunder if i'll have time or energy for da matter to blog tmw......zzzz ouch mi sore legs..haiz time to go slp gotta wake up at 8 again......
