Ahhh yesh finally i have something to write about!!

hahaha...went on Sun wif me ol Ak peeps...supposedly it was for a settlers @ smu outing but SUM1(Mz JING-a-LING) totally forgot that she had to babysit tt dae so ya..o wellz o after lunch 3 guys stood there under the shade of some random tree by the road and we wondered hard about wad 3 guys could do on a hot sunday aftnn..

hmmmm ponder ponder ponder...and after dismissing fondling each other and giggling like gals we decided... TO PLAY LAN!!! WOOOOT AWESOME...yesh if there's one memory of a guy growing up its of the constant banging of the tables, da never-ending screaming of expletives at each other (Sometimes even involving family members)and the ear-blasting sounds of sweeeet gunfire. Ahh yesh LAN, without it ur pretty much questionable as a guy!(No, realli i meant tt literally as well!! LOLs)

So off we went to this place beside Alps Cafe and boy was it cheap sia: 4 bucks of unadulterated awesomeness..So me, lee boi and ah cai started out with Battlefield 2: Special Ops and took on a whoopping 18 bots chionging us every 10 secs.. Boy, were we getting raped but hell we pushed on winning one match and losing the next! and i must say da use of nationalistic songs at the end did demoralise us further..

Well wen we decided, that was kinda shaggelicious, we switched to left 4 dead, a game much toked abt by farhan. Basically its a basic zombies Vs holocaust survivors kinda battle...and it was just brainless rampaging.. LIKE SERIOUSLY, all i remember doing was :

1. Run
2. Shoot
3. Reload
4. Change gun
5. Reload
6. Hide behind door to end the stage and rest a bit
7. Start from #1

Hahahaha...but it was still pretty mind-blowing considering i haven't LAN-ed in like Ages....Somethings just never get too old!!

Latest update of NTU student stabbing

WHoa OMG man, this family never fails to amaze me sia...kinda reminds me of a stubborn kid that wails on the floor of a candy store!

Last Friday, Forensic experts revealed that after rummaging through his laptop they had found a document entitled 'Last Words'. On it were accounts of personal and family problems and his unwillingness to carry on living. Plus, there were internet search references to the words: Murder and suicide.

2 witness that the family had provided had also been cross examined. One of them revealed that David had told him before that the FYP was i quote "hard and troublesome".

Yesterday was da last day of the inquiry (Thk god for that...first was AWARE now this goddamn saga), and David's family pulled yet another drama stunt. Without informing their lawyer, they wanted to sack him and hire SG's most famous lawyer, Subhas Anandan. But hiring him meant that they had to seek an adjournment to allow him to prepare for the case. On top of that, they wanted to call another 7 witnesses to the stand. WAD DA HELL rite...

But thkfully though the State coroner had enough and just gave them 2 choices: either stick with their current lawyer or proceed without any counsel. After apologising to their current lawyer for going behind his back, the family proceeded with the latter ultimatum!

The State Coroner is expected to deliver his verdict on 29 July.

Don't worry folks, will keep you posted on the verdict! but obviously i'm sure we all know what that's gonna be rite?? LOL

Gosh quite thkful for taking my special sem rite now....else i tink i'd prob die of boredom at home!! but ya...studying biz law is preeti freaking awesome i must say...man u have no idea of the stuff u can sue for sia!! U can even sue sum1 for giving you the wrong advice, les say for example to buy sumthing! lol....realli inspiring to come out as a lawyer but o well lemme jus chuck childish fantasies aside..but can't help but dream of otherwise....

H1N1 @ butter factory...no its not a new drink!!

Whoa dint catch the number jump for a couple of wks and lo n behold now the total number of H1N1 cases in Singapore has shot up to 194.

O well, and out of the 26 new cases, 4 cases arose from people who had been in butter factory. GASP!! gosh goddamn swines are even chionging now la!! how can...HOW CAN SIA!!!

If you know of any1 who has been to Butter Fact last saturday, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM...One floor staff had confirmed infection and was working that day...As a precautionary measure, they've done the responsible thing to close their doors for a week. Loss of revenue estimates to be close to a quarter of a million.

First up, Our very own Patricia Mok, 37, was reportedly molested early Monday morning at a nightspot at Clarke Quay. According to news sources, a 31-year-old man had allegedly groped her, after pinching her buttocks. Even after her stern warning, the man continue to grope her. After the guy failed to stay out of the club and got back in after being chased out by bouncers, she called out the cops!! Ahh yesh, and the guy was reported as appeared to be drunk! Well honesstly, i really hope he was...Cos who in their right mind would errr..well fill in da blanks urself!!

In international news, it was reported yestdae that Chris Brown had pleaded guilty to assualting Rihanna and would be serving 180 days of community service for his wrong-doing...The RnB singer had apparently slammed Rihanna's head against the window of a car the couple were travelling in before repeatedly punching and biting her. Gosh shame on you Chrissy booooooooo!!!!!

Life used to be so much easier and we never cared about what troubles lay in front of us, be it 5 years from now or 5 mins. Times can change so much. Generations evolve in a matter of years. Who's to blame? The internet? TV? Rap artists? Pop crooners? Punk rockers?

Is there anyone to blame at all?? After all, we are a species pretty much infamous for constant evolution! But are we really evolving? Have we grown wings on our backs and took to the skies or developed gills to provide us the means to take a plunge into the oceans to search for wreaks on the ocean floor personally?

What is our evolutionary mechanism then? The ability to increase the utilization of our brain mass? Can the many awesome inventions that mankind has come up with justify as our conclusive evidence? SO we've changed the 'altered' the environment surrounding man...is this our EVOLUTION??

NTU stabbing due to lost FYP report??

Was browsing through Stomp and found this image of the office of the NTU prof who got stabbed by David Hartanto Widjaja....hmm judging from the damn state of his office gosh....even if he dint have problems wif his scholarship and FYP project, he probably wud have stabbed him for his messiness...maybe that's the true cause!! David's fyp report got lost in the mess and both were trying to find it but the mess just aggravated both men and things gota out hand, etc etc....gosh they should SOOO use this as a case study for next sem's forensic science module la!!!

IMPORTANT news for Iphone users

Ahhh yesh sum impt update for all Iphone users....Singtel will be launching the iphone 3G S (the S stands for Speed btw...lol ) upgrade, starting from 18th june 09.

The new features include capabilities like Cut, Copy and Paste, Landscape Keyboard and MMS and will be offered as a free...yeah..FREE UPGRADE to ALL existing customers!!

Pricing for the new 3G S sets have yet to be announced and sources have confirmed that the new set is equipped wif a 3 megapixel camera, with a smarter auto-focus option. Plus the battery life has greatly improved; The 3G S is estimated to last three hours longer than the iPhone 3G for surfing the Internet over WiFi, six more hours for music and three more hours for video playback.

One more cool ass update from Apple, which i honestly HOPE none of you would ever have to use would be the nifty find my Iphone feature. Basically, it allows you locate your lost or stolen iphone and remotely wipe clean the data. If only there was an update to remotely retrieve back the entire set?....hmmmm

Bugis street to iluma

ahhhh finally had to get walk around bugis st again looking for bargains this GSS and one thing i realli hate abt bugis street is although the prices are cheap the quality is not there...you realli gota open up ur eyes in order to weed out the 'danger' goods...but ya me n Fizh managed to get some tshirts and i managed to cover iluma as well....

must say not realli impressed...reminded me of tampines one...although this was huger(if there's such a word), it seemed rather empty and not cos most of the shops were not open it was onli a handful realli... o and the movie prices are no longer 6 bux so pls dun rush down there if any1 tells u so!! spking of malls jus remembered i've seen like so many malls popping up all around the island and i wunder are ppl realli starting to stretch their spending power??...cos as far as i can see i dun see any mad rushing and grabbing yet??

REtrench is such a stench

haiz had to head out in the afternn today and jeez was the weather perfect for going to the beach! the heat and wind was like totally in sync....if onli ev1 was free to head out to the beach??! lol

and i'm sooo tired after rushing out from sch to meet my FYP prof and PHD mentor....who were like freaking awesome ppl!!! i'm so hoping to work wif them cos can see that they're realli giving me the freedom to work on my own version of the project! kinda exciting even though i hate being an engineer...sumthing that i can hands on, jus turns me on!! hmmm ok tt dint come out rite but o heck u noe wad i mean!! lol....jeeez o YA and one ting that irked me off seriously was tt wen i asked mi mentor for da access card to <>...apparently they have a policy of onli creating access cards for those wif GPA 4.0 and above...WTF so prejudice la....so does tt mean tt sum1 wif a lower GPA den tt can't come up with stupendous discoveries?? i beg to differ, u elitist Mofos!!

Moving onto the later part of the nite, had an awesome farewell dinner courtesy of my line personnel from mi IA company @ SAKURA Orchard. Realli luvly folks who just wanted to treat me as a token of appreciation for my dedication and hardwork....and...and...ok i tink bttr not gloat anymore hor!! but ya i realli did do IMPT stuff there....but alas some bad news i just found out, all mi hard work has gone to waste!! haiz...well apparently the rumors have been confirmed that mi coy will be facing a total shutdown of operations in a yr's time meaning a TOTAL retrenchment...but wad to do Bo bian, they've held out to their limit and now its time to go.. I seriously hope that mi frens over there get a replacement job soon and wif their desired pay...ALL da best guyz!!

was looking through a list of the 30 critical illness list offered by insurers and found a particular clause which seems kinda prejudiced against a certain group of people. currently there's a clause that pays out to ppl who have been infected by HIV thru blood transfusions or occupational mishaps. It DOESN'T cover if you contracted it through sexual intercourse or the use of intraveneous drugs....

had an eventful mng...woke up late and tot of gg to bedok to get onto da company transport but some unearthly force shoved me up onto the bus heading to tampines and i was half expecting to miss the bus and lo n behold wen i saw the bus actualli lving the pickup point...i ran da black off my skin(hmmm i wunder if i can copyright that phrase) for the bus and had to jump over a road divider just to get to the bus...heng da uncle recognised me sia!! SO NOT HIP...but wad da heck!

had a realli awesome dae connecting wif ev1 at work, gosh i tink i'm gonna cry sia....muahaha....o hot damn and before u know it, half of 2009 as just gone by!! i tink the one ting i'm realli NOT gonna miss wud be to wake up at 6 in da mng!!!

Last day of attachment

Whoa...so busy ah can't even blog sia...

ahhh yesh finally i've reached the end of mi stint of my attachment coy. Gosh and its already half a yr...haiz time really flies like hell as u get older.. but i'm still not earning mi 1st pay check yet! I only consider starting to earn only when i start paying taxes to our gah-men, which they use to give our NSmen a gd life for 2 yrs!!LOL

O well, i should be starting up on my 2nd podcast today...hmmm i'll be touching on a very touchy issue involving our s'pore trains...so do look out for that!!

A new way to quit smoking??

You are getting sleepy...you are getting sleepy...you are...you...are...you are gonna quit smoking!! HUH WTF!! OI SI MI L%$ J!$@!!

Haahaha...yesh abt 30 medical professionals are undergoing classes equipping them with 'smoking cessation hypnosis training'. Apparently, the whole session takes 1.5 hours and i quote 'completely safe'!!..hey safe for who?? for the patients?? REALLY?? hmmm..or for the docs to errr well hmmm??

Apparently it allows the patients to go into a relaxed state and focus acutely on what it is they want to achieve and they can break the habit. In addition to that, they can also imagine themselves as a non-smoker in the future...hmmm wad i wunder what else they can make them IMAGINE?? ......."Imagine your being robbed and your totally fine with it..." LOL Seriously??

haiz hypnosis to quit smoking huh?? well if tt works damn maybe they can probably move up to criminal institutions and maybe even politicians!! lol Helll why not they just march up on national TV and create a nation of EQUALITY....ahem ok maybe i'm tinkin to far ahead...
