the mystery still continues....where does the term 'muggin' orignate from? but 1st of all y dis topic came out: a couple of wks back wen i was out drinking wif ma homies, poh asked an interesting question...who invented the term muggin??? "Must be something those JC kids create one.." he says...LIKE WTH, so apart from the poly/JC rivalry there i realli started to ponder, with the puffy clouds above mi head which must have been the result of downing mi drinks tooo fast!!
A quick wiki search came out wif a one liner...apparently mugging is a colloquial singaporean term...haha maybe they cud use tt on our uniquely singapore tourism campaign next time...o wait i tink they oreadi are, i mean look at the friggin shit load of foreign scholars screwing up our bell curves!!! RAWR!!...aniways back to the story at hand, it originated from the British term "to mug up"...used in a conversation: "Oi! did yer mug up for ur driving test?", O bollocks i totally forgot abt that, "Ahh jolly gd luck den lad!!"
