Yesh, undoubtedly after much testing and tasting i've realised that i'm pretti much a vodka person. why? well kinda tired of the taste of scotch and vodka seems to have a rather "smooth" taste to it, and amongst all, mi all-time fav would definitely have to be the Smirnoff series. Which is why i've decided i'm gonna dedicate a whole blog post to a great tasting vodka!!
The smirnoff series has 10 diff flavors ranging from continent to continent which have produced their own variations according to local appeal. created by vladmir smirnoff, the most famous of em all would be da smirnoff No.21 (the standard bottle with red label). its triple distilled which ensures da purity of the vodka. Filtering is crucial to vodka giving it its unique flavor, for smirnoff its filtered thru charcoal, made from the hardwoods like the silver birch, for a total of 8 hrs. YESH 8 hrs. The end result, pouring a lil smirnoff onto ur fingers and u'd realise it doesn't feel slimy and doesn't have any smell.
The smirnoff black was da oldest of em all..steamed in a 150 yr-old copper pot, dis vodka was served to da Tzars generation after generation....and still is being prepared in the same pot, affectionately known as OLD TOM. Another hot favourite would be da smirnoff ICE: RED(No 71) and Triple Black (No 73)....
i hope dis post would have convinced u to try da smirnoff series...well if it hasn't haha den TOO BAD!! lol aniways back to da usual postings......
